Allocation of frequencies for telemetry
Telemetry is a system of directed links between predetermined fixed locations, which are used for transferring small amounts of data. Typical use is in water supply and sanitation utility systems (connections of pumping stations and reservoirs with central management).
The frequencies that are specified in the General Act on Radio Frequency Utilisation Plan which are assigned to PMR applications can be used.
The Agency begins the procedure of allocating radio frequencies after receiving an application, then issues a decision on allocating radio frequencies (ODRF), with which use is permitted on a particular frequency channel. Also specified are: modulation, fixed location, transmission direction (azimuth and elevation), as well as minimum demands regarding the technical parameters.
