Allocation of Frequencies for Radars

Radars are radio stations for determining the position of objects in space.

The radio frequencies allocated to radiolocating applications in the General Act on Radio Frequency Utilisation Planmay be used for this purpose.

The Agency begins the procedure of allocating radio frequencies after receiving an application, then issues a decision on allocating radio frequencies DARF), with which use is permitted on a particular frequency channel. Also specified are: modulation, fixed location, transmission direction (azimuth and elevation), as well as minimum requirements regarding the technical parameters.
