Allocation of Frequencies for Coast Radio Stations
Coast radio stations are on-shore fixed stations for voice and data communication with systems on watercraft.
The radio frequencies allocated to naval applications in the General Act on Radio Frequency Utilisation Plan may be used for this purpose.
The Agency begins the procedure of allocating radio frequencies after receiving an application, then issues a decision on allocating radio frequencies (DARF), with which use is permitted on a particular frequency channel. Also specified are: modulation, fixed location, transmission direction (azimuth and elevation), as well as minimum requirements regarding the technical parameters.
