How to Establish a Radio Program?

If you wish to establish a radio station you must meet the following requirements:

• you have to enter radio broadcasting (60.100) as the company’s activity into the register of companies,

• you have to enter your radio program into the mass media register at the Ministry of Culture,

• you have to acquire a radio broadcasting license from the Agency.

Broadcasting a radio station

If you wish to broadcast the radio station via radio frequencies, you must enter the station in the public tender for allocation of radio frequencies, which is carried out by the Agency.
 
For coordination of an available radio frequency in the desired territory and the execution of a public tender, you, as the broadcaster, can file a proposal with the Agency, in which you should list the reasons for carrying out a tender for available frequencies and technical characteristics. The proposal is only the first step in carrying out a public tender and does not by itself guarantee the acquisition of the frequency, since anyone meeting the requirements can participate in the public tender.
 
If you wish to broadcast via other platforms (i.e. the internet), you do not need any additional licenses or rights, you only have to enter a business agreement with an individual operator.
