License for Operating a Station
Every broadcaster must obtain a license for operating a radio or a television station before they begin disseminating their program. Along with the broadcaster’s identification data, the license also defines the minimum programming requirements the Agency checks within the scope of expert supervision:

number of days in a week the program is broadcast,

description of the program (the station’s mission: strategy, target audience, and the target territory of dissemination, the role of the station, and the basic content foundations of the station: the main focus points for content, diversity of genre and theme, description of content, methods used for informing the public, etc.),

weekly average for each individual type of content in daily broadcasting time,
-
weekly average of in-house content shares in daily broadcasting time,
-
weekly average of shares for each individual type of in-house content in daily broadcasting time,
-
weekly average of shares of daily broadcast of Slovenian music or music production of Slovenian artist and performers,
-
share of production of Slovenian audiovisual works in yearly broadcasting time.
