Program Shares

Based on the Mass Media Act the Agency conducts expert supervision regarding the share of in-house production, Slovenian music, and Slovenian audiovisual works in radio and television programs, and based on the Act on Audiovisual Media Services inspection supervision regarding the share of European audiovisual works and European audiovisual works by independent producers in television programs and on demand audiovisual media services.
 
Types of supervision over program shares:

• share of in house production in radio and television programming (Article 85 of the Mass Media Act),

• share of Slovenian music in radio and television programming (Article 86 of the Mass Media Act),

• share of Slovenian audiovisual works in television programming (Article 87 of the Mass Media Act, while for stations operated by the public broadcaster Radiotelevizija Slovenija Article 92 applies, except for paragraph one, which is no longer in force),

• the share of audiovisual works of European production in on demand audiovisual media services (Article 16 of the Act on Audiovisual Media Services),

• the share of European audiovisual works of independent production in television programming (Article 17 of the Act on Audiovisual Media Services).
