The Republic of Slovenia supports radio and television stations that are of special importance for Slovenian culture with funds from the state budget.
In the scope of expert supervision the Agency processes applications for assigning the status of local, regional, or student radio or television station of special importance and verifies whether they meet the conditions for the status. These are defined in the Mass Media Act and the Rules on Stations of Special Importance.
