How to Establish a Television Station?

To establish a television station, you must meet the following requirements:

• you must enter television broadcasting (60.200) as the company’s activity into the register of companies,

• you must enter your television station into the mass media register at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport,

• you must acquire a television broadcasting license from the Agency.

Television programming dissemination

If you wish to disseminate television programming via radio frequencies, you must enter the station in the public tender for acquiring the right to disseminate programming using digital broadcasting, which is carried out by the Agency.
 
If you wish to disseminate via other platforms, such as cable systems, satellites, or IP television, you do not need any additional licenses or rights, it is only necessary to conclude a business agreement with individual operators.
